Berkeley Heights

If it's happening in Berkeley Heights, the Chamber is involved. Many local businesses participate in the Mt. Carmel Feast in July, and the Chamber is the prime sponsor of all retail activities throughout the year.

The Chamber is pleased to be a co-sponsor of the Rubber Ducky Festival, which benefits the Berkeley Heights Rotary Club and local Boy Scouts.

The Chamber is delighted to sponsor a Welcome New Teacher Luncheon for the Berkeley Heights Public School system during August 2009.

Chamber sponsored networking events provide an opportunity for all businesses, large and small, to get to know each other and the products they can provide to each other.

A liaison to the local governing body has been in place for nearly twenty years, and has resulted in excellent communication between the governing body and the business community.

The Suburban Chambers of Commerce Foundation provides a $1500. scholarship to a graduating senior from Berkeley Heights at Governor Livingston High School.

The Chamber coordinates the Clean Communities Program for the Township, sponsoring a townwide clean up day and fund raising opportunity for the town's many non-profit organizations.
